The 6-speed works great!
WOO-HOO...

Finished hooking up the wiring and exhaust today. The speedo hookup was the most confusing part of the installation. The plug has been changed by GM and was not labeled with A and B. I got a tip from Josh at BBHP.com about how he thought it would go, and he was right.
It started right up, no problems at all. The clutch pedal being a little high isn't as big a deal as I thought it might be. It's a blast to drive! The rear gears need to be changed, it lugs a little off the line. I can't wait to change it out.
I will also need to get the exhaust system fixed. It makes noise now, rubbing here and there. It's distracting when you're trying to bang through the gears!

OK... I fixed the problems with the banging/rubbing/noisey (?) stuff and it works like a champ! I haven't changed the rear gears yet, but they are coming soon, I hope.
Here are some shots of the driving lamps I am going to install. I purchased them on e-bay from a guy in Las Vegas named George. I think I'm leaning toward the narrow mounting...
He is quite the creative craftsman. he makes a dash overlay that has little neon flourescent thingys that light with the dash lights. They look real cool and change the appearance of the instrument panel for the better. I don't have pics of it but Kylee helped me install it and it still only took about 30 minutes (including soldering).
